    Average air mass

On an ecoboost engine. when datalogging. Is the Average Airflow PID (lb/min) inferred from the Speed density or is it calculated using pressure and temp sensors?

I found this on a F150 ecoboost forum.

    Airflow #/min = Engine displacement for one-cylinder (.00157 for 3.5 eco) x RPM x # of cylinders/2 x desired load (torque inverse value)

The person is a known tuner and said the PCM uses this formula internally to calculate airflow
