    Calibrations???

Can anyone tell me if the l99 and the ls3 share the same ecm calibrations?? If not, can someone chime in and tell me what?s different other than the transmission?

L99 has AFM/DOD and Variable Cam, LS3 has neither.

I?m asking about the ecm calibrations and operating systems. I was hoping someone could tell me if both operating systems were almost identical or way different??

The L99 and LS3 use very different camshaft profiles - which translates into very different calibrations.

Use the compare feature in the software - you will see that the differences in the calibrations are extensive and significant.

there are many many differences, timing is different because the engine sees load differently with an auto vs a manual, torque management is different. there are differences in fueling, and behavior due to clutch use.

me personally i would leave the stock auto file, and just tune it to the new cam, its not going to be that far off, a couple of percent at best in the ve table
