    4.7 beta weird behavior

Today I downloaded the beta VCM suite from the homepage and installed it (with no issues).

When I go to help-about in either editor or scanner, it says it's version 4.7.32 and that there's an update available to version 4.7.36.

So I download that version, and oddly the download file is exactly the same size as the other one (usually they're larger). And when I go to install it, instead of the usual, it asks if I want to repair or uninstall the suite.

Has anyone else experienced this? If anyone from HP is reading, is this expected behavior?

When the repair/uninstall screen appeared I stopped - I suppose one thing I could do is choose "repair" and see what happens...

I'm also experiencing the same problem. I clicked repair and it did nothing. I went through this process around five times and got no where. Did you figure it out or can anyone help?

I haven't found a solution... I'm hoping when the next beta comes out it'll be fixed.

Understood... I only posted here because for me it's a trivial issue and I didn't want to waste the support folks' time!

I sent this to support after being told to update to the newest version for the E80 Flex Fuel sensor fix. Hopefully it will be updated.

The "reported update" in beta is not accurate at the moment. We're working on a fix.

Just thought I'd mention. I download the latest beta yesterday, and the software failed to start. Tried on my 2nd laptop, and had the same issue. Ended up reverting back to the previous beta version, and the software started up just fine. Weird

I apologize, I didn't open a ticket as I was in a jam and just reverted to the previous Beta.

If you have an issue with the beta software please open a support ticket its stated right in the pop up every time you open the beta software.
