Adding a google map overlay

Is it possible to add a google map overlay on the video?
If it is not implemented currently, is it possible to add it in the future?

I feel like it's a much needed functionality! Thanks.

There isn't built in support at this time that I'm aware of (likely due to licensing or permission issues using map tiles), but if you're willing to put in some work, you could try following this documentation on it.

I personally find displaying my current run simultaneously with my previous best run to be much more useful (see this documentation). Hopefully one of these will help.
