I like mine enabled. 1st gear goes by 2 quick. Would rather it change than hit a limiter.

Sorry to hijack your thread but I did hit the initialize egs53 button yesterday on mine. Now will hit limp mode very easily. Can hpt be used to write the file back to the mtcm or do I have to send out to be reflashed?

I have written my MTCM several times but never an EGS Initialize. If you read the MTCM before the EGS Initialize maybe read the MTCM now and run a compare with the previous read file.

Thanks I think I was able to fix the issue. after reading the tcm file again and comparing with my backup. Shift points were back to 5600 and rear gear was set back to 2.82, no wonder the limp mode. I rewrote the tcm file and so far so good.

After you wrote the backup file did you have to change the gear ratio in VCM Scanner? I always wondered if gear ratio was backed up during the read process.

Care to share your MTCM backup file for comparing purposes?

I compared with my 5.7L Mopar TCM (P5153332) and there looks to be some shift scheduling differences.

Can you confirm if this is the stock MTCM file or if you have modified anything yourself?

nothing modified by me, don't believe the tuner touched anything there either.

I have a 6.1L SRT Mopar TCM (P5155177), the Operating System is P5155179AA in my 2009 SRT Challenger. I have compared the file and there are very minor differences. @iCanuck, do you want one of my tune files for review?
