so im new to all of this and im just wondering what are the steps I have to do with tuning to swap motor and trans......im swapping the motor and trans out of a 1999 Tahoe into a 1995 jeep yj so do I just have to delete vats and emmisions? do I have to tune tcm as well?? I have the mpvi2....thanks in advance for any tips!!
Typically, the 1999 PCM devices already have transmission support built into the PCM operating system. So no separate TCM is required. However, tire height for your Jeep will need to be input plus the Jeep final gear differential number, whatever that is.
After that, yes VATS and the emissions control items should just about cover things.
