Stock shift light in cobalt ss s/c?

I was tuning my car, went to shift into third at about 7k, missed third reved to 7836 rpm and while I was up there a yellow light lit up right where the shift light would be! How might I reprogram the light to come on earlier like 7000 rpm?

can you post your stock or modified file?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

yup...that would make it easy to see your current available parameters...might help determine if its possible as it sits...if not you can always put in a feature request for parameters that will/might be able to help you.

THe feature is there, you CAN adjust the RPM it comes on.... but they are disabled in the LSJ. FOr some reason they erratically are starting to work on the midded LSJ's, read above post

The reason the stock 'shift light' does not work on the LSJ is that it is used with the stage 3 PCM to show when the PCM is in HOM (high octane mode). I believe this to be the reason the PCM does not have control over the shift lightHowever this dosn't explain why a few have seen it erratically show up on their factory PCM. I wouldn't believe it myself if it didn't happen to me too.
