2008 F-250 disable PATS?

I know this comes up from time to time. I switched the PATS switch in HP tuners, but that in itself did not do the trick. Does anyone know if there is something I can do to disable PATS? On some occasions, Eric said that there is more to it then simply the PATS switch, but his PM is full.

The reason I want to do this is so I can install remote start without using the PATS bypass module and so I don't need the expensive keys. Either way, it's not a big deal if I can't get it to work, I didn't know if it was something simple I'm missing.

I have solution for all 2008-10 6.4L Powerstroke PATS disable as well as 2011+ 6.7L Powerstroke PATS disable.

Will the 08 PATS disable, extend/include the 5.4 XLT by any chance?
I'm at attempting, one that the owner somehow managed to sever the chip on the only Key.
We purchased a kit that comes with a programer, Two transponder keys, a metal key and a cylinder.
However the metal key is to have the Working/original key attached/taped to trick system near the antenna and allow the programming to start!
No can do since the tranponer is severed/broken!
Would your solution work, with this 08 F250 XLT 5.4 2WD?
