I've started tuning a Sprintex supercharger 3.6L Pentastar and while roughing in the VE table I have noticed a very large, cliff like rise in the VE when I approach a PR of ~1 and start heading into boost (PR~1.2 and still in closed loop). This also corresponds to a very sharp rise in the datalogged Aircharge (virtually doubles between a PR of 0.9-1.2).
Below these PR's the VE table seems quite normal, as does the Aircharge so I'm wondering what I'm missing here.
The only time I've experienced a sharp rise in the VE entering boost in other ECU's is when the MAP isn't taken into account in the aircharge calculation (thus the VE has to rise to compensate this). Almost seems like the case here

To set up for VE tuning I've done the following:
1. Retain injector characteristics from supplied DS tune (these seem to be ok)
2. NN = Disabled
3. VE IAT Multi and VE IAT Factors all set to 1
4. VE ECT Multi and VE ECT Factors all set to 1 (Overall VE correction = Base VE * Factor * multiplier correct?) I assume that doing this will eliminate any VE temperature corrections which I will set up later once Ive got the VE tables dialed in at standard operating temps.
5. Sensed MAP = Enabled (I assume this means the actual value from the MAP sensor is being used)
6. Copy VE bank 1 table to VE bank 2 and tune VE bank 1 using the logged LTFT+STFT as a starting point.
Surely I've missed a correction table or something silly here.
