hi im new here, i have a 2018 GMC Sierra that was tuned by a local tuner to Arizona, i have since moved to the east coast, (big difference in driving style). i was wondering if making the change for 6th gear (currently at 42ish, and with my converter the rpms bounce when driving at that low of an rpm) would be something super simple i can do with my hp tuners i recently purchased to start playing with other vehicles i have
Yes. Changing the shift mph speeds is rather simple. I'm used to the 6 speed calibrations but if it's an 8 speed it's going to be nearly the same I believe.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
