TCC not Locking up after Diesel conversion
Original: 99 Tahoe 2dr with 5.7 Vortec 4l60e 4x4
Converted: removed 5.7 and replaced with 6.5 side mounted turbo diesel and lower stall converter
Did the conversion and made sure ecm get sensors feed for the following:
- TSP
- engine speed
- engine temp
- intake temp
- maf is available but cause erratic (long, high rev, soft) so its disconnected.
- map is also connected but the sensor is a 2 bar unit from the new 6.5 turbo diesel
Change out the torque converter for a lower stall unit to fit the diesel profile. Trans behaves normal except for lock up. It will not lock in 3rd or 4th. PWM is steady at 96.1%.
things done with HP tuner:
- adjust shift table to match diesel rpm
- disable abuse mode
Manual lock up does happen when I force it in the in VCM scanner app when I commanded with TCC Lock on\off
Any help with making the trans TCC locking up like its suppose to will be super appreciated.
