from Australia, questions what to buy and questions how to make it work together

    I have a Holden VY SS 2004 commodore V8 LS1 automatic.
I want to do some tinkering with it as well as any more commodores i may own in the future.

i need MPVI2 i assume, Non pro is good for me i think.
where to buy from being in australia?
    https://vcmstore.com.au/products/mpv...30709f12&_ss=r
    or
    https://www.hptuners.com/mpvi2/

    is there any difference???

I will also need VCMSuite, how do you register this? i see it is a trial, how much more does that cost as i cant find a price??
I will also need to purchase a couple of credits.

Also, i understand the ECU will be locked? how do i unlock it on my car? does hptuners do this somehow or how do i do it?

I don't see what the difference would be if you are buying from an authorized re-seller or HP Tuners themselves.

They had a link for the credits here.

The VCM suite costs nothing, you can download it right from the HP Tuners website.

Your computer if completely untouched and factory will not be locked. Just read it with the MPVI2, license it for the correct amount of credits and that's it. Start tuning it from there.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I got mine from https://vcmstore.com.au. Always found them to have great customer service and postage is always very quick. Plus I got a free camshaft bottle opener
