Knock Retard is the reduction or prevention of knock by lowering ignition timing:
(+) Adding Knock Retard = Reducing Timing. PCM is seeing knock.
(--) Lowering Knock Retard = Increasing Timing. PCM isn't seeing knock.

This happen to me when i disabled all my map points except one of them without manually locking the cams into that map points settings and the imrc. By manually locking the cams and imrc i mean to say in the tune, not physically.
Gotcha, mine happens when I press or depress the clutch
can you post logs and your tune for us to review.
