PLEASE HELP "Unable to open file"

PLease help, I have verified I have the latest version of VCM suite. I just received my tune from Vengeance Racing but I am unable to open the file. I receive the following warning in VCM Editor "Unable to open file. Unsupported or newer version detected. Please update your software."

Is this because they need to update software or I need to? Once again I went to HP Tuners website and down loaded newest stable version.

    Thank you, Robert.

Please install the newest beta software and try opening the file using the beta software https://www.hptuners.com/downloads/
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I am having the exact same problem. My tuner had sent me 2 other files and I was able to download them without issues but my 3rd modification file is giving me the error message. I have tried removing the beta file and reinstalling it twice to no avail. I removed the regular VCM suite and tried just the beta and it still wont open my file. Is there a software update that fixes this?

You can't open a tune file if it was saved by a newer version of the software. Upgrade to the latest 4.6 or the latest 4.7 beta.

I have downloaded 4.7.209.0, uninstalled and reinstalled. I even repaired the beta file and I still get the same error message.

I just installed beta 4.7.238.0 and still cant load my new tune. If I uninstall the regular VCM suite, I cant click on the VCM editor icon to try and install or log. What am I doing wrong? As y'all can tell, I'm quite new at this, haha

Hello Bill, Ive tried to do all that was explained to me. down loaded the new beta version to open and reload an older tune that used to work fine. Now its telling me that the tune is un licensed and its saying my traction control isn't operating correctly and other issues. I down loaded the latest beta version, hoping that this would fix the issue and it did not now my 2012 eco boost wont even crank over. The mileage doesn't read correctly and its doing some very strange things. Help???
