Having an issue tuning my 2017 Camaro SS. The only mods are primary cat, muffler delete, and cut stock air box. No matter what I do I seem to get a lot of knock in the 2400-3000 rpm range at around 40% throttle. I have attached two logs, the first is on 93 octane after lowering the timing several degrees from stock, the second is on roughly 60% ethanol with the timing significantly lower than stock (this is a dedicated ethanol tune, no sensor). It seems that no matter how I adjust the timing I still get knock in these areas. Both logs are maf only tunes. Is this false knock? Am I doing something else wrong? I'm fairly new to tuning.
