Ecu e38 does not detect speed (255 kms)

    Help

I have an ls3 interchange in my jeep YJ It works perfect except that it does not detect speed, it is stuck in 255 kms. It is an ecu e38 automatic of origin which we leave mechanics with a tremec6060 4x4 (tranzilla). Someone has solved this problem and that the ecu detects the VSS sensor that it installs and can have a speedometer.

We tried another manual corvette ecu e38 and with this if it detects the installed VSS sensor

Excuse my English, I write from Chile.

You need to use the OS from an manual E38 car like the corvette. The Auto OS looks for vehicle speed on the canbus instead of the VSS input like it does on the manual cars.

Meatbag; this info seems to be correct. I had to do exactly what you state to get my E38 to read VSS sender signals on the E38 pins 71&72 coming from my termec5speed.
