    e40 PCM not Logging boost

I have a 2005 GTO with Twin turbos running 6psi, my scanner will not read above 105 kpa.

I have tried to delete all the PIDs and add a 2 bar channel but it never pops up with the option.

Any ideas of what i could be doing wrong?

    Thanks

Do you have a 2 bar MAP sensor?
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Are the e40's like the ls1 ecms, and have to log with 2 bar config?

Mine came with my LS2 GTO, from what I have read they are sort of a mix of the Gen 3 and 4 PCMs.

Part of the problem is i cant get the 2 bar config to pop up in my channels to log it

Yes, i followed up with all the correct steps, even tried re-writing entire. The OS code (1250150) even pops up in the scanner recognizing that the 2 Bar OS is in the PCM

No they are not, they were the first of the 4th gen ecm's and use the oem map pid similar to E38 ecm's. Most likely he is not running a 2 bar or 2.5 bar sensor(this is the most common reason at least).
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

So first off, its not a 2.5, its a 2 bar, so if your settings reflect a 2.5, that part of the issue. Now secondly, where did the sensor come from? Did you buy it from a gm dealer, or from some place like rock auto, which is notorious for selling counterfeit chinese knock offs.

Just a minor quibble... Rock Auto does not sell fake parts in AC Delco/Delphi packaging at AC Delco/Delphi prices. But if someone is stupid enough to think that a $8 'ULTRA-POWER' sensor is equivalent to a $50 AC Delco sensor, Rock Auto will let the stupid person buy the fake Chinese $8 sensor if that's what they really want.
