    VIN Swapping the Right Way

I have a tuned by someone else PCM (2001 Camaro) with a VIN that does not match the car's VIN (2002 Camaro). The car runs and drives, it just has a lot of BCM codes that I want gone.
I would like to know what it actually takes to swap the VIN the right way and how many credits it would actually take.
Some reading I have been doing is not conclusive and I have seen issues.

So would I have to pay 2 credits to unlock the PCM and change the VIN and that's it?
    Is it this easy? https://www.hptuners.com/help/vcm_ed...change_vin.htm
