    BD pressure enhancer opinions?

Just wondering what everyone thinks about these https://us.bddiesel.com/products/6r1...30073626820672 ? Is it not possible to raise the line pressure with tuning? Or is there a mechanical limit to the pressure no matter what pressure is commanded?

I'm pretty sure tuning can do what this does.

i've commanded ~300 PSI with stock solenoids.

It's a silly piece IMO because a stock truck will actually take out the newly added pressure over time to meet it's desired shift timings. If tuned properly first and then you added this with adaptive's turned off this will actually interfere with your custom tune possibly requiring a full trans re-tune. It's like these guys produce a part for something they know nothing about... All these pedal commanders, solenoid pressure adders, and "in line" tuners are mainly snake oil. Everything they do can be achieved with proper custom tuning. Gale banks's in line tuner might be the only one with some worth, but he has years of work, tons of testing hours and lots of data. Along with proven dyno results. It's hard to prove the solenoids worth when these transmission's use inferred line pressure and not actual.
