    I 83 swap

    Installed L 83 with 4l60 trans with stand alone controller. Starts and runs for 20-30 seconds and shuts off. No throttle pedal response P2138 code.is flagging....

    I figured that GM has made 15 million or more DBW throttles and some of them must have failed. When mine failed, I just pulled over to the side of the road, waited a few minutes then everything worked fine again until it failed. Just get a new throttle pedal. Watch the video here on YouTube
