    Ford Diesel Logging Update

A lot of you guys have requested more loggable parameters to help navigate where to make changes when tuning the 2017+ Ford 6.7 diesel, and the Ford Ranger (SID-209).

In the latest beta, I have added a few new channels for logging that will pinpoint which maps are in use.

    DieselModes.JPG

Parameter 14590 - Base Operating Mode will tell you which of the Map # is in use.

Parameter 14589 - Injection Config for EOM will tell you which Config # is in use.

Parameter 14588 - Engine Operating Mode (EOM) will tell you which Mode # is in use.

    Hope this helps.

In the coming days, I will add the above to the 2011-2016 6.7 as well as the 3.0L F-150 diesel.

Awesome i've been waiting for this, ill test it tonight. It would also be nice to get the tables added that choose which MAP# we are using based on engine temp vs some temp??? Maybe intake air? Either way we appreciate your work Eric. Map Select Via temp.PNG

Looks like it's off by some sort of conversion factor. That number happens to be 2^16-2^10.

The one thing that gets me is i think it should move progressively lower from startup considering the maps to select this number are laid out by a temp. I don't know why it would jump up unless there are other factors at play here.

Looks like EOM and config were working, but base map is all over the place looking at the log

The Ranger only has PRM14588 in beta 4.7.505. Has there been an issue?.

I've had success with all versions from 4.7.318.
I do find that the available parameters reported does change if you're not connected to the vehicle. Consequently, I always connect to the car and then re-poll parameters (under Vehicle heading). Also the parameter 'hides' under Engine-Fuel-Diesel-Quantity.

I have a case logged about the other 2 missing parameters.
