Anyone know if Livernois PCM unlock is compatible with HPtuners software.

I have a 2018 Charger with a Vortech system, it came with Livernois My calibrator and they unlocked the PCM and provided a jumper from the OBD2 to the Canbus strip above the glove box.

I can not read the current tune which is fine I don't care.

My concern is whether or not the way they unlock the PCM being compatible with HPtuners software.

I will be removing the My calibrator i.e. return to stock, remove the Livernois jumper.

Install a smart cable and read out the stock tune.

The reason I ask is we had a jeep earlier this year that was unlocked by SCT and we didn't know it, sent the computer to HPtuners for an Unlock service and they opened it up, sent us pictures of the unlock and told us it was not compatible with HPtuners software.

So we had to purchase a new PCM unlocked.

I know Livernois uses their own proprietary OS for tuning. I wouldn't think its compatible with HP Tuners. Probably going to have to flash it with a Tech2 to get it back to stock, so you can tune it from there. I could be wrong though, I have no experience with this.

Sorry, didnt mean Tech2. Thats just what popped in my head at the moment. I meant, whatever OEM tool Dodge uses, to flash it back to stock.

I have a 2017 Jeep srt and have an unlocked pcm from them and I tune and write to it all day long with hp and no issues

I actually had Livernois unlock my PCM on a 2015 Charger. I contacted them before and made sure it would work with HP tuners and they assured me it would. Haven't had any issues and going on about a year now.

We elected to send the PCM back to Livernois as they assured us they can make it compatible with HPtuners.
