Problems after Tune on Z34
Hello,
I've just finished a tune on a 370Z (Z34)
Everything went well, I could calibrate it to my taste and could pick up some power.
However, after doing the calibration a few stock functions weren't working
anymore.
*Such as:*
- *Speed limiter (driver can adjust) doesn't work*
- *Cruise control doesn't work*
- *Automatique rev matching function doesn't work*
I have an Idea what the problem could be:
I deactivated the *Throttle est Torque* Function in order to deactivate the
torque control and allow to push car a bit further without having the
ecu closing throttle.
Could this be the reason that all these functions don't work anymore?
Which brings me to my next question, if the above is the case,
*How can I tune the car to avoid torque reduction through ecu closing
throttle?*
Which table do I have to adjust to avoid this happening?
Estimated Torque under Torque Calculation?
Or another?
Has anybody had these issues yet or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you in advance, I really like using your software and I hope these
problems can be solved so I can continue using your software for these cars.
Best regards.
Jesse

Keep the throttle est torque ON and just rise the Estimated Torque table in the Torque Calculation section. I always have weird problems when I change the electronic throttle settings.

Hello!
Thank you. Just before your reply, thats exactly what I tried and did. Everything worked out and all the non functioning elements worked again. but there is clearly less responsiveness than if I would use ? OFF ? method. Maybe you know how to increase this?
(The throttle doesn?t open as fast as the accelerator pedal is pressed)
Once again, thanks for answering 😊👍🏼

Welcome. Happy you got everything work back again. I do not think we have control over the throttle opening rate or to eliminate the opening delay.

I see. Ok thank you. I guess the only way is to the setting to "off" but then lose the other functionalities.
Anyway, the customer is happy and thats the most important.
Best regards.
