I?m trying to make an Error off 1.10. I want to run open loop, obviously. I can?t seem to find what the change in the math equation and or in the open loop tables. Can I use my wideband to make a fueling error of 1.10 instead of 1.00? Thanks.

? You want to run at .90 while in cruise?
Had it backwards. Want to run 1.10. I did figure it out tho.
Ok, Just thought it was strange, even 1.10 is 10% lean.
That’s what I’m going for.
Interesting so based on a 14.7 afr you are wanting to run your engine at a 16.17 afr. I do not know if you are going to get anyone to help you do that.
2012 ZL1 - Maggie Heartbeat, Port & Polish Heads, Custom Cam, Custom rotating assembly, steel sleeved LS9, No NOS and No water meth. 16psi
810rwhp and 820rwtq 91 Octane 6400 rpm
948rwhp and 951rwtq 105 Octane 6400 rpm
999rwhp and 997rwtq on 60% Ethanol 6400 rpm
I got it figured out. Just trying to see if I can get some better mpg.
Well, may run with better mpg but not for long. May be like some of the cars on here that go really fast ..... once. Lambda 1.04 is about as far as it can be pushed with any degree of safety. Even then the rest of the tune better be perfect to compensate.
Gook luck

Oh I see. I do not plan on ripping on it, at all. I drive like a grandpa every where I go. Just thought I would try something new.
You're still more prone to knock which isn't good, besides for the MPG savings, it isn't worth the risk.
Driving like a grandpa doesn't have everything to do with it. You can hit higher load areas climing a steep grade going the speed limit.
I hear the Hyundais are getting 40+ mpg, maybe get one of those.

Gotcha. I monitor knock with my logs. I know Hyundai’s get that good mpg. Just trying different things. If it doesn’t work, I’ll put it back to the way it was.
experimenting is how we learn. good luck
also leaner is less torque so u will require more timing which may cause knock and more throttle to achieve same cruise speed so end product may be about the same fuel economy anyway, only time ive leaned it out is when using ethanol as its much safer
