    CT6-V Blackwing

I just picked up a '19 CT6-V and wanted to know if there was ever going to be support for the 4.2TT motor. I know its limited production and might not be as financially beneficial as something more mass produced. It would be a lot of fun with another 75-100 hp.

Join the club. Good luck getting HPT to even acknowledge the inquiry. Multiple forum posts and email inquired have gone unanswered.

I hate to be the Debbie Downer here, but they let's look at some facts about the CT6-V:

    1. They built, what, 500 of these cars? 750?

    2. All new ECU designs since ~ 2015 have included unbreakable digital signatures (not sure if this is one of them but it probably is). This is why we don't have tuning for the C8, or some of the other new Cadillacs.

    3. It looks like they used some one-off Bosch ECM that wasn't used in any other vehicle which means even if #2 wasn't an issue, any work that was done here would only be relevant to this vehicle.

Even if it was possible to give us support for this vehicle, it's probably too low volume to justify the engineering investment. E.g. nobody would be willing to pay $20000 in credits to tune one to offset the engineering costs.

But let's forget even all of that for a moment. Consider also that there won't be any transmission support (it's a T93 based vehicle). And, what gains could be had? The literature on this engine says the OE calibration already has the authority to run at or in excess of 20psi. In the most recent times GM has left very little on the table...
