Engine swap 4.8L to 5.3L - what else do I need?

A friend of mine has a 2000 4.8L from a Silverado installed in his hot rod. He has recently found a 5.3L from a 2003 Avalanche that is drive by wire that he wants to use instead of the 4.8L. . Is this swap as easy as swapping intake onto the 5.3 and changing the tune to reflect the larger engine or am I missing something?

you'll need to log and retune because of the increase in CID but it shouldn't be far off.

If it's stock for stock, just copy over the 5.3 tune data into the 4.8 computer and that's about it.

Monitor the engine with the scanner to see if little things need changing.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
