Target shift duration on I6 4EL60

In the VCM scanner, there are for the I6 version (but not the V8) PID's for shift duration and shift duration errors, but I can't find a target shift duration in the VCM Editor. If I simply increase the shift pressure, won't I just get a shift time error that the ECU tries to compensate for?

Post your file, and I'll take a look at it for you. I've tuned a 2006 Buick Rainier I6 and the trans shifts are firm. This didn't have the desired shift time tables and no problems or DTC's. The desired shift time is the max time allowed before the line pressure will increase to speed up the shifts. The shifts can be quicker than that table, but not slower.
