Can Normal EOIT be a higher reference number than Boundary?

    I need a sanity check...

    If EOIT = -784*+(Boundary+Normal)

But, if Boundary is the absolute latest injection can occur, then does boundary have to be a higher reference point than normal or does it not matter because the two are added together to calculate EOIT?

I'm trying to have injection around peak piston velocity (sbe ls3) which is 435* and have SOIT be after the exhaust valve is closed (368*) at idle and cruising rpm. I know I need to factor in injector pulse for SOIT.

Right now I have Boundary set to 6.5 (585*) and Normal 7.046875 (634.21875*), which should make EOIT 435.21875*

IVC is 584*, so I'd actually like to reduce Boundary by 20* and increase Normal by 20*, or does that not make sense? I figured I wanted the Boundary to end 20* before IVC.

    Cam info:
    IVO 352*
    EVC 368*
    IVC 584*
    EVO 117*

    Thanks for any assistance provided!

If it bothers you, you can always move the boundary and lower the normal.

So it doesn't matter if Boundary is a lower reference point than Normal? Thus, it's not actually a Boundary?

Just trying to better understand the purpose of the two tables.

Want to bump this to see if anyone can give me more insight on whether Boundary restricts the Normal table. Thanks in advance!
