2020 Ram 1500 Auto Start Stop

Has anyone successfully disabled the Auto Start Stop on these trucks? The truck does have the button next to the gear selector that you can disable it, but you have to push it every time that you turn the truck on.

The stock file reads as follows.
Auto Start Stop: Disabled ([ECM] 45790 - Auto Start Stop Switch: Master enable/disable switch for Auto Start Stop.)
In-Car Button: Enabled ([ECM] 45511 - Auto SS In-Car Button Default: Default value for the in-car driver button for the Auto Start Stop.)
Stall Recovery: Disabled ([ECM] 45519 - Auto SS Stall Recovery Switch: Master enable/disable switch for the Auto Start Stop stall recovery function.)

I have attached the stock read file from the truck.

Not a solution with Hp but this can be done using AlfaOBD with a OBDLink MX+ and bypass cable. You have to connect to the BCM and change the configuration setting to disabled.

yes, set the In-Car Button: Enabled - "Auto SS In-Car Button Default:" to disabled.

This way when you first crank the vehicle the Stop Start will be dissengaged by default and if you want to enable it you just push the button (basically the opposite of how the vehicle is stock)
