Ok hear me out... the 04-05 Neon SRT's and the 04-06 Wrangler SE's both use an NGC3 ECU. There is an issue on some cars during a specific era of manufacturing that causes a p2074 code and limp mode that cannot be disabled. I turbo'ed my Jeep, resulting in this code, and I can disable the light, but not the limp mode. Rather than hassle with the dealer (and pay $) for them to fix it according to the TSB... could I flash the tune of a vehicle without this issue (copy and past my own tables/settings) to my ECU to eliminate it? Idk, but I feel like there is a risk of bricking the thing when I do this. The SRT4 and Jeep both have an NGC3, but the tune files have some different options in them relating to turbo. Honestly using the SRT4 software is probably a more complete solution than trying to edit the Jeep software. It seems silly to have these software issues when I'm supposed to have full access to my computer with hptuners. Any advice is appreciated. Excuse the ignorance, I am new.
