When I try to write a custom OS to my controller it responds with "unlicensed vehicle". Why does it do that and how do I get past it? I got the download from the tune depository.: 2001 Camaro by Country Boy. Controller is a 12200411. It currently has the '088 OS loaded.

I show two credits available in my user section on the HPTuners website. New licensee, MPV2 bought with 2 credits from the HPTuners site.
I have resynched the MPV2 module with the VCM editor, done this numerous times and it appears to complete it successfully.
However when I go to upload a tune, I get the show license options dialog and then it says Credits Available: 0
How can this be? I clearly have 2 credits on the HPTuners site.

You should not be flashing someone elses file to your ecm, that is the issue here.
Sounds like you licensed someone elses file and are now trying to flash it to your ecm.
Either way please open a support ticket and we'll be able to assist you further.
DO NOT LICENSE FILES FROM THE REPOSITORY.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
