Lightbulb not as much power gain as i expected.. any advice or input on the tune?

alright guys this thing has been a little work in the making for a friend, but we got long tube headers, no cats, edelbrock supercharger with stock setup for supercharger, a Circle D converter 3,000-3,200. she runs good and shifts solid but sometimes in lockup the converter will shimmy. but the dyno numbers were a little low for what we estimated. any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. 2015 gmc sierra 5.3 edelbrock superrcharger.hpt2015 gmc sierra 5.3 edelbrock superrcharger.hpt

Why such a loose convertor on modern close-ratio transmission with a positive displacement supercharger that makes good boost at low RPM? Not only is it probably hurting your power, the transition to lockup is not going to be like the factory convertor and the TCM is probably having fits with that mismatch as it tries to coordinate torques. Speaking of torques, how precise is your virtual torque model? This is probably also contributing to your "shimmy".

we went with this converter since it has aftermarket rims, larger tires and weight of the truck. i also forgot to mention it has a texas speed stage 1 cam with the AFM/DOD delete kit.

It's that combination that KEEPS COMING UP THESE DAYS.... Circle D and TCM OS 24270599 (among others) See this thread: https://forum.hptuners.com/showthrea...-lockup-issues And also this thread: https://forum.hptuners.com/showthrea...RCLE-D-3000-HP This OS will refuse what you ask it to do in the cal on lockup. The scan tool will make it lockup tight and hold.... but not the cal data.
