charging system service now - smart charging

well I just started getting the service charging system now messages. I knew my battery was old and weak so I went out and got a new one to be sure it wasn't related to that.

Voltage was always staying around 14+ in my logs. but it does seem to be getting worse, voltage was going up to 15+, For giggles I disabled PCM alternator control, and it no longer went to 15+ but it floats around 13.8-14.7. Car doesn't like to idle as nice, especially warm.

Error message persists, I have tightened everything I can see, before I throw a 3-400 dollar alternator at it, is there anything else I might be able to check?

Original alternator replaced at 8k. 38k now and no warranty.

Whipple gt350.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
