    2018 F150 3.5 Ecoboost E30 E40?

    Hi,

Does anyone have a base map of a tuned 2017+ F150 on E30, or E40? Or maybe a post that I can read to see what I can play with?

    Thanks!

You need to take a read including your transmission file and post it.

I will make some changes for you.

    Don't tow with this.

Adjust how ever you want, make sure your logging all the "source" pids and if you hit any limiters post your log and I'm we can figure it out.

    Try not to blow it up...V STOCK 2018 F150 3.5 E40 Trans - rev 1.hpt

    Logs from Rev1

WOT feels jerky, not smooth. Thoughts?

Your log is missing most of the "source" pids, you need to add your bank 1 and 2 wide bands.

Also your charged air temps show you need an intercooler.

Lastplace are you enabling the factory flex fuel for this, or modifying the stoich to start with this? Sorry I would take a look for myself but I can't open the file (I'm using v4.4)

    No.

I already modified stoich. Flex fuel isn't enabled.

First thing I notice that probably isn't helping it your target lambda, 0.74 target is overly rich IMO. Second after like 4th gear WOT your fuel source changes from power enrichment to cat temp protection, thus bringing target lambda down to <0.7 lambda.

I would try 0.8 lambda as a PE target to start, and bump up the cat temp protection limits to hold that throughout. Even 0.8 is on the richer side, but it should improve feel and bring you out of the injector limit.

Cats melts. That could be worse then the power loss of cat protection.

Add actual throttle angle, throttle inlet pressure desired and actual.

Haha maybe in 2010. The substrate can handle 1050*C sustained, it doesn't need 0.65 lambda. It needs 0.65 lambda to not let the platinum degrade and hit emissions targets at 150k miles.

This one feels smoother on top end. Not as jerky.
