    4r70e to 4r70w 05 f150

Ugh. Over my head 05 f150 4r70e replaced with 4r70w
Was told by a Ford guy this would be ok just needed to remove the torque management and the p0715 and p0717 codes... Now have a constant p2016 throttle is limited but truck runs and shifts ok just no power as its in limp mode... any advice

    I think you mean 4r70w and 4r75w

The only difference is the oss count evident by the vehicle speed being off.

    Otherwise identical.

No truck had a 4r70e 2 speed sensors, replaced with a 4r70w that was from 04 with 1 speed sensor but rebuilt. Was a stupid idea just because it was free. Figured it could be fixed with a little tuning .not turning out to be the case lol

You shoule have put the code meaning eith the fault codes.

disable the TSS_HP switch. Thats the turbine shaft sensor present switch. Go disable it.

    Never disable fault codes.
