    Question VIN Reflash

So I have a 2005 Chevy Colorado 4 x 4 that I had done a 5.3 LS swap on I was using a ECU from a trailblazer and of course that is the Vin number that comes up when I connect the scanner to the truck. Now I have changed the motor to a LS2 and installed a turbo. I want to reflash the EC you with a new Vin number how do I do that with the HP editor?

    Thanks

As far as I know you can not mix and match VIN's with HP Tuners. Like you can't put a VIN into a computer/OS that was never designed for that VIN.

The VIN means nothing anyway for how it runs and drives. The VIN only means something if you have emissions testing that requires the computer VIN to match the dash. And it seems very unlikely that you will ever pass emissions with a V8 swap and a turbo.

Best bet is to keep the trailblazer computer how it is and just tune it from there.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
