    What vehicle?
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

When you go to write to this truck, it will say the license you do not have a license for yet. I want to bet $5 it says the FPCM (fuel pump control module). The FPCM costs 1 more credit.

So if that is the case you will need to re-read the truck but do not read the FPCM, only read the PCM and TCM. Then copy over your changes to the new file and try to write it to the truck.

Yep, Rogers, MN. I drive through Monticello/Clearwater all the time when going up to my cabin north of Albany a little ways.

Hey, thanks. I see it now in the one pic, it read three modules. Think I'm better off buying the extra credit or is the FSCM of no importance? I's my sons truck, only do this as a hobby.. Still trying to get my tune right in 300.
My family is still there, parents raised Arabian horses, "Co-abian Acres" Left in 76 for 25 yrs in military. They really turned the place upside down.

I've never had the need to change anything FPCM related. It's not worth the $50 if you aren't going to use it.

Things have changed a lot around here for sure, I'm an early 90's kid and even since then it's changed.

Thank you. I'll let you know how it goes tonight after I see my son.
Shame, was a great crime free place growing up. Going up this fall I hope.

    From HP Tuners support.

Thank you for contacting support Steven,
It appears you read the FSCM, now if your not going to tune it open the file go to the editor tab and click on calibration details when that window opens click on controller tab then scroll down to the FSCM and double click to remove you'll see these words in the box with the controller. remove it and write the file to the vehicle.

Fixed tune, should be ready to write now. Thanks for pointing me the right direction.

Good deal, that's quicker than re-reading the vehicle.

It would be nice of HP Tuners to update the help files because that information is nice to know. Half the stuff in there is from 2.24 and 3.0 stuff for how to use the editor, completely outdated.

I just dabble in the GM stuff. Never owned ford/dodge so haven't had a chance to learn it. I do this stuff for fun.

Pretty much same here. Started when I modded my 99 FRC, basically turned into a Z06 clone. Try to help people with what knowledge I have or point them in right direction. Chrysler is a whole new ball game in tuning though, software isn't like the GM stuff. My biggest obstacle is reading logs, don't know enough about how all this info ties together, other than fuel and timing, it's seat of the pants mostly. Have been fighting the "turn off NN" and tune via VE,(SD for GM), most will say with the MODs I have it should be off, starting to come around to it though. NN tries to self tune and changes things that keep screwing with me.

Its ONLY available in the newest beta software which not everyone has.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

A wise man once said "google it"
