    0411 for a 2WD to 4WD?

Is there a quick way to tell if an ECM is for a 2 or 4WD by looking at the tune? I have the ECM but just not sure what it came out of as it was given to me.

Swapped a 1999 4.8 into a 2001 Silverado that used to have a 5.3. (Cause the 5.3 was pooched and we had the 4.8 laying around the shop) I have the said 0411 ECM here with a 4.8 tune in it so I was just going to license that and use it but not sure what I have to do to get 4WD to work in the 2001.

Did a bunch of searches but can't come up with a definitive answer. Thanks for any help anybody can provide.

5th digit of the VIN. Ever heard the term "C/K truck"? C is 2WD, K is 4WD. Same for other platforms where both were offered, it will be there in the VIN.

You learn something new everyday! Thanks for that.

Does anyone know if there is much of a difference between a 2WD tune or a 4WD tune. From what I found out there may be a few extra wires to the ECM of a 4WD but am wondering if I can use this 2WD ECM on the 4WD without making major changes.
