    Stand Alone data logging

I have a MPVI2 with Pro Feature set added.
How do I use the stand alone data logging.
I am trying to find documentation on it.

In VMC Scanner I can go to Vehicle and MPVI Pro Data Logging but it does nothing.
I would really like to log without laptop.

    Thanks
    Adam

Standalone datalogging is not an active feature of the pro feature set.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Thanks Bill.
Can you elaborate if it is coming soon or do we need a different option?

    Bill,
Has there been a release date on the data logging for standalone yet. I’m Assuming that’s the same problem I’m having, I have an LS3 with 6l 80 Transmission are standalone in my hot rod. It shows data until I start car and then it goes flat line shows nothing. Please let me know if that’s the case. Thanks

I think the OP is referring to the feature that the MPVI has where you could log without the laptop. I think you are talking about a crate engine that you installed in your hot rod? In that case you have a different issue. I'm able to log the GM LS3 crate engines transplanted into older vehicles without any issues. Is your transmission using the GM Supermatic controller? If so, I believe that the software for that is separate and offered by GM, but you would still use HP Tuners to access the engine computer. Also you need to make sure that the engine is tied into the VSS and gear selector so that the ECM knows when you are in Drive or Park/Neutral, also to know how fast you are going for other tables to work correctly.
