Does anyone know if flashing the ecm also resets the adaptive learning?
Not sure on the '02 but probably not unless you are selecting "Write Entire" which I think is generally not recommended. On my '06 I just disconnect the + terminal from the battery and hold it to ground for 30 seconds. Reconnect the the terminal then turn the ignition key on to run but don't start. Turn the head lights on then off. Turn the ignition off. Now the learned memory should be cleared.
It does not. You have to do Like TJTurbo said.
