Need some help please

Last night I finished putting the motor back in my car. I have a 2013 Camaro SS with the L99 engine. I went to start it and all the lights and dash come on, but when i try and crank it the power cuts out. I've check all the grounds and all the grounds are connected and in the correct position. I tried and hooked up a Snap On Solus scan tool to see if there are any codes and it cannot communicate with the ecu, could the ECU have somehow bricked itself? I have not touched the tune since before it was running. I currently have a ticket open, but I wanted to get some feedback in the meantime.

Sounds like you may have a bad car battery or you did not tighten the battery cables enough.

changed the battery and the battery cables are tight
