I'm tuning my kids car and I setup a 3000 rpm two step with the neutral rev limiter. After bypassing the clutch release switch (not start switch) it functions as intended. However, the engine bogs for over a second before it starts to pull like it should. In diagnosing things I can see that the fuel pressure gets unstable while on the two step before launching. At launch the fuel pressure is around 26 psi. It takes about a second to stabilize around 38 psi at which time the car starts to pull. I suspect the instability is from cutting fuel at the limit with this return-less fuel system. Does the fuel pump PID need tuning, or is this two step just not going to work?
