    IAC Reset Position with DBW

To all, I wanted to start by thanking everyone that has shared their experience and time on this forum. Your input is greatly appreciated by us newbies.

I have a 2004 Z06 Corvette LS6 with drive by wire throttle body and was wondering if anyone could explain if the following items are used with that setup [DBW]:

1.) IAC Steps vs. Effective Area

    2.) IAC Park Position Airflow

    3.) IAC Reset Position

The drive by wire Throttle Bodies do not have IAC motors ? everything is done via the main blade motor. So, I'm not sure fiddling with them actually does anything.

I have not been able to find a thread where this was specifically addressed.

Thank you in advance ...Happy Independence Day

    Hi Ben,

That was what I was thinking but just couldn't find it addressed anywhere.

Thank you for responding ... it should help others searching for answers, too.

    Happy 4th of July!
