    Straight piped LMM jet sound

    Hi,

My LMM sounds like jet on idle. I guess it is due to vane position, can some one tell how i change my tune to get rid of it?

Should just be able to compare to a stock file on your vane position at idle and open it up. I cant remember but I think they close them to help build heat in the winter and some people love that jet sound just heard it on an L5p this morning idling. If you need a stock file to compare i have my 10 GMC LMM

Yes it seems that vanes are about 85% close at idle. I try to change it like 25%

Yes that is what i've read. Will give it more the rumble as opposed to the hiss. May i ask, do you have 4" or 5"? I am looking at purchasing for my 10. From what i read a 5" will give the best sound. Dont want obnoxious but want to know when i pedal it is all. Thanks

5" flow pro with 8" tip. Not too loud for my taste, on high way nearly unnoticeable, but over 2000rpm wot it is pretty loud
