Drop in Cyl Airmass - Lean Spike E38 VVE tuning

    Hi all,

Trying to see if there are any of you that have had this issue.

I am tuning VVE. I get a large drop in cyl airmass which leans me out. It has happened under partial throttle and WOT.

LS3 C6 that is running e38 ecu - just headers and catless xpipe.

On this particular log, cyl airmass goes from .85 to .42 and then back to .85.

    MAF IS FAILED.

I did notice while poking around there is a SD Air Patch. The description is a bit vague. Would this help me?

I have tried multiple VVE Tables now, changing my boundries back to stock, etc. I do have a great tuner helping me but figured I would post here as well since I come here for a lot of my questions.

Will update here if we find anything off the forums so hopefully we can help someone else down the line..

    Below is the tune.

    disable injector de soot switch

disable fast tq exit and max the values

set dynamic disable and re enable to 8000rpm under airflow dynamic

    Appreciate the help.

The tuner helping me through this did note that 8000rpm change as well. That seems to have cured my issue and I have the VVE pretty close now.

Any more info on that desoot? Is that something I should do anyways? Will I need to go back in and tune the VVE again?
