Yup.
Basically three things were changed in the GM stage update.
1 Idle RPM was raised from 750 to 850 in PARK/Neutral from 177degrees on up
2 Injector offset vs Battery Voltage was changed to stabalize the changing idle.
3 Maf Sensor fail rate was upped from 10,000hz to 11,000hz to elliminate the CEL light
This is from an nice guy on the redline forum.
Nate
Thanks Nate. There's a lot of very knowledgable people in the redline forums.... Those guy's have a lot more experience with the LSJ then us Cobalt guy's...
Don't forget the IFR tables are still WRONG. Air fuel is TERRIBLY LEAN down low and TERRIBLY RICH up top....
I am sorry to say it, and I know it sounds harsh but GM has no clue what is going on
How many staged vehicles have you seen that you can actually make a statement like that?Originally Posted by [email protected]

I agree with NoRemorse that is a strong statement.Originally Posted by NoRemorse

Not AFR he's talking about the Injector fueling table. I don't think they don't know what they are doing, I just think they aren't actually testing these reflashes as much as they should. Anyone who drives their cobalt with a stage reflash feels the hesitations.
