Does anyone know if there is a field that controls when the variable oil pressure on a 2016 Camaro SS is activated/deactivated? When I start the car up it will go to around 60's psi and I let the car warm up a bit. It usually will go back down into the 30's when it gets to operating temperature. However, there are times when it will stay high and then trip a (reduced engine message) but the car doesn't go into limp mode it acts the same. I just hit clear on the dash. Then I will get a check engine light with a code of P06de (engine oil pressure control circuit stuck on). Usually, I can use the vcm scanner and clear the code, and then the pressure gauge goes back to the 30's. I believe there is something in my tune that is causing this issue. I have already replaced the sensor and even had the connector to the pump checked at the pump. There are no shorts or issues with the oil pump. Car runs great but it's annoying to have to clear this code. Any suggestions would be great.
