Rich idle after electric water pump install

    This ever happen to anyone?

Idle used to hover around 14.7 AFR before electric water pump was installed. After I installed it, it's now 12.9 and takes about a minute or two to get back to 14.7 but will also now surge at idle.

Should I just trim back the fuel or do I have to play with the air as well?

2001 LS1 Trans Am. Manual transmission.

less load on the engine so it will then make it richer at idle and change the adaptive correction a little, i even noticed it when i fitted an over run alternator pulley i got richer tip out's with light throttle at cruise, just adjust fueling as normal to get it right again
