Looking for 1st HP Tuners purchase, advice needed.

My current vehicle is a 2002 Envoy, not looking to do much to this one currently, but may pick up an 06+ down the road, may go with forced induction, still undecided.

I would like to both monitor fuel trim data, timing, basically everything, and have the ability to modify if necessary my parameters.

I would likely need to use this on 2-3 vehicles of my own, and likely add in 3-4 vehicles later. If possible,.changing trans shift points, pressures, idle speed, lockup speed and load settings for lockup etc.

Not sure what to get, I figure I would ask here to get the correct info and I also plan on purchasing through HP Tuners.

    Thank you.

MVPI2 and a couple of credits would probably hold you off for a while.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I'm in this same boat. Looking to learn tuning and need recommendations for hardware / software and instructional videos or reading material. Thanks
I have no prior tuning experience and am starting at the bottom :-)
Current vehicle: 2005 GMC Sierra with On3 single turbo kit. Recently purchased better BW turbo and small truck cam to boost power levels.

Thanks, I'm fine with going with the Pro version despite the added cost. Not sure of the limitations between the two, need to read up on it.

Could the non-pro be upgraded later at the same price difference as the Pro, or best to go with the Pro?

Will the 2 credits also cover the transmission?

    For most vehicles, yes.

You can view the supported vehicles list for credit amounts. Newer vehicles like 2017+ on the GM side do need more credits and services to tune the TCM.

All older computer like P01/P59 and E38/67's are the 2 credits for PCM and TCM if it has one.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Thanks. Looks like my vehicle supports the Pro version, however for what I'm after at the moment the standard version will be more than adequate. I researched the crank sensor or CASE relearn and it appears the software will perform this function. I would like to confirm that this is possible with the P10 PCM.

    Thanks again.

Tried placing order but was given the orange bar stating HP Tuners doesn't deliver to my address. @Bill@HPTuners, please advise.

I recently read that is an issue with Paypal. Try using your credit card to see if it says it will ship.

If HPT cannot fix then I may try that. Odd since it's a Paypal verified address.
