Commanded idle at 150? NOT the usual MAX Idle table

Ive ran across few where you had to get the MAX Idle - Park/Nuetral table added because it would be set to 0 rpm, and command idle to be 0 until you put it in another gear position and it would go its its MAX Idle - Gear value

but this was commanded to 150 rpm on startup, and it didnt change when you put in gear - and both tables for Max Idle are set to 1600 rpm? You can see it start @1200 rpm then snap to 150 rpm all the sudden

That is odd. Haven't seen that before. Doesn't see to be causing the issue you mentioned though, the IAC gets right to work yanking all that extra airflow out. Definitely decrease the base airflow and reduce the delay to entering adaptive idle, just in case that nonsense idle RPM causes issues. Bet those valves are toasty too lol.

Mine use to do this as well. The whole command is 0 till i put it in gear then back.
Now it will alway command 1150 in P/N until i put in gear and back to park. Then it will command the set value.

    These are screwy oddities

Did you check the tables I mentioned? When it commands 0 RPM is the ECM 10059/10060 tables doing it. Had to be added to some OS so you could fix it by contacting support.

This is not that problem. you can see no indicated gear change occurs. ANYONE?

I dont know what your talking about, it asks for 150 rpm idle all the sudden so of course the IAC is going to start yanking airflow out. its not extra, it needs it there and thats why it stalls when it asks for it?

Only thing odd I see is a slight TPS percent above 0, but its not enough for it to disable the IAC routines and lock it out so that isnt a big deal. Just dont know where 150 rpm is coming from

MY OS does have those two and they have a value that i put into Max Idle P/N.
That solved the original idle command issue. But it still just holds 1150 in P/N until i put in gear then back to P/N.

I was also wondering if its somthing that has to do with my calibration was originally a manual calibration and had an 80e segment swap that is maybe somthing underlining that we cannot see. So i was gonna try a tune that was originally auto and do a full write.

post tune. Its likely something related to that incorrect setup not telling it to use the auto desired rpm tables in either park/nuetral. Manual cars dont have one of the two populated

See if this helps with the 150rpm deal...

HPT doesn't have the Heater Idle Offset or the Startup Idle Offset table's characterized. The car files come with this stuff zero'd out but most all the trucks have data populated in it.

Looks like EFI live has these calibrations but as stated HPT does not.
Is this something that might be part of my issue?
